We are very proud to be finally putting the finishing touches on our long planned Eco Lodge and Resource Center – a way for people to reconnect with an ecological lifestyle as well as an accommodation to host our volunteers. We’ve also cleared the whole area, upgraded the surrounding soil after years of heavy fertilizer use by previous owners, planted organic vegetables for demonstration purposes, and built flower beds as well as retaining walls. We’ve even got a solar hybrid oven to teach people how to dry fruits like mangos and local herbs to conserve food well beyond harvest. We would like thank Ashoka, the Prince of Peace Community and the Auburn Enlarged City School District for financing construction and office equipment.
